BRITAIN BEST CUSTOMER. TAKES OVER ONE-THIRD. Dalgety's annual wool review gives interesting particulars of the destination of the New Zealand wool clip for the season 1935-30. These were as follow:— WOOL SEASON 1935-30. Distribution. Bal-, ( United Kingdom . Japan, Cliiiia and India Franco 5.', '' Germany and Austria 55,328 Belgium and Holland 42,380 U.S.A. and Canada Italv and Switzerland 100 Russia, Norway and Sweden -'-11 Poland and Czeclio-Slovakia .... 14.084 Spain and Denmark Local manufacturers qo'ui'q Local scourers 30,040 Australia and Tasmania ... -U.7Jj Total 75C.533 Owing to the restrictions governing trade with Germany the firm was unable to arrive at the correct figures for Germany and Austria, as the Customs return for wool exports shows a large quantity as "United Kingdom, optional Continent. Italy's? figures are given as 100 bales.
