LATEST FROM SMITHFIELD. THE BANK'S REPORT. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office as at the close of business this week:— Wethers. —The market is quiet and unchanged. Ewes. —Smaller supplies have caused prices to harden. Lambs.—There is a moderate demand. Wethers, light, 4%d to 5%d per lb; heavy, 3%' d to 4%d; ewes, 3%d to 4%d; lambs, twos, 6%d to 7%d; eights, 6%d to 69i'd: fours, OMd to 6%d; seconds, 6%d to 6%d.
