CARNIVAL DANCE.
The Band Hall, Takaroto Road, Takapuna presented an animated scene last Wednesday, when a carnival' dance was held under the management of the social committee of the Takapuna Citizens' Band in aid of band funds. Excellent musie was rendered by the Parklands' orchestra, under the leadership of Mrs. W. Lawrence. . The duties of masters of ceremonies were in the .hands of Bandsmen L. J. Henderson and R. Wotherspoon. The Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss A. Wotherspoon and partner. A dainty supper was dispensed by members of the ladies' social committee.
