COMING OF AGE.
An enjoyable function took place at St. Andrew's Hall, Otahuhu, recently, when a party was given tc celebrate the coming of age of Doris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Pirie, of Alexandra Street. Miss Pirie wore a frock of pink pebble crepe and Mrs. Pirie wore midnight blue crepe suede. The supper room was decorated in shades of pink. Among the guests were: Mesdames A. T. Mield, M. Walters, H. Stacey, Misses L. Laidlaw, E. Bell, J. Frost, J. Fuller, R. Reynolds, E. Miller, N. Walters, A. Clark, G. Fuller, A. Rolfe, M. Hoyte, M. Burt, J. Watson, J. Douglas, P. Todd, G. Wilkinson, B. Pirie, R. Walters, B. Douglas, F. Goulter, M. Todd, S. Packard, P. Watson, P. Walter, P. Petrie, Jj Smith, J. Clemants, M. Crosby, M. Hall, H. Menzies, I. Smith, P. Watson, A. Pirie. The masters of ceremonies were Messrs. A. Bayer and J. Bell. Music was supplied by Mrs. Fletcher-Mathew and Mr. Edelston and a duet was given by Mies J. Fuller and her sister, Misg E Fuller.
