WELLINGTON, Friday.

Sir R. Heaton Rhodes, M.L.C., of Taitapu, Canterbury, former Cabinet Minister, had a sudden heart attack this morning at the hotel in Wellington where he is staying, and was taken immediately to hospital. His condition to-night had greatly improved.
