JUNIOR MANAGEMENT,

At the meeting of tlie junior management committee' of -the Auckland Rugby League last evening Mr. D. Wilkie presiding, a motion of sympathy was passed to Mr. George Taylor, a member of the board, and Mrs. Taylor, who are in hospital, and wishes were expressed for their restoration to health. It was decided that.owing to the need of completing competitions all junior iixtures would continue on the 25th instant, but matches would be finished as early as possible. The application of the South Auckland Rugby League to play its junior reps, against an Auckland third grade side in a curtain-raiser match, preferably to the Englishmen, was deferred. Two fifth grade players ordered off for misconduct on the field were suspended for a playing Saturday. . The protest of the Marist Club against the weights and ages of the seventh grade Point Chevalier team was upheld. A Devonport reserve grade player was refused regrade to third grade without support of application from his club. It was decided to ask an explanation from Green Lane senior 33 for playing a player whose name did not appear on the team card. . . The R V. third grade team, in charge of Mr. W. Halverson, was granted permission to-visit Whangarei on Saturday W Transfers: F. C. H. Pope. City thirds to Newton reserves; G. Phillips, Manukau seniors to Otahuliu senior B; Iv. A.
