KRUSE TO APPEAR TO-MORROW,
After having been forced to cancel his first appearance here Bob Kruse, the famous wrestler from Portland, is to make his debut at the Auckland I own Hail tomorrow night, when he will meet xiarij Kent, over the usual course ot eight tenminute rounds. Kruse is now complete \ recovered from the' eye trouble which temporarily kept him out ot action, and is in condition to make a favourable first impression upon the .local public. he is particularly anxious to do. and hi* quality has been proved so otteu. that there can be no doubts on that score. He. received 'a sound grounding in the rudiments of the sport from Ted Tlije, has a wrestling school at Portland, and : his ability and enthusiasm were such that he became good enough to win the can amateur light-weight and he weight titles at Oklahoma in 1920. He turned professional soon . afterwardb, and quickly established himself as one of the leading exponents of the sport. not long, in fact, before he was bein„ dodged by some of the . men with b>K reputations, particularly Jmi a'"' only two world champions, Jim Browninfe and "Strangle!-" Lewis, have managed to beat him. Kent has shownmhspro - Sous performances here that he ® of-extending the best wrestlers /and thcae is certain to be some keen battling he clashes with Kruse.
