SWIMMING.
AUSTRALIAN S FOR N.Z. N.S.W. AND VICTORIAN TEAMS. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") DUNEDIN, this day. The secretary of the Auckland Swimming Centre wrote to the Otago governing body asking if arrangments could be made for the New South Wales swimmers, who are to visit New Zealand under the auspices of the Otago Centre, to appear in Auckland. It was left to the committee to go into the matter when preparing the itinerary. The secretary of the Victorian Amateur Swimming Association wrote :n reply to the centre's invitation for leading swimmers to visit New_ Zealand, that Allan Mott (runner-up in many State and national diving contests), Allan Crawford (State champion for 100, 220 and 440 yards and national championships), G. Vockler. W. Weir (Australian breaststroke and medley champion), and probably Miss Irene Donnet (Australian woman springboard diving champion), might be available. The Otago Centre will consider the itinerary of this proposed tour later.
