An agreement which has been reached between unions of hotel workers and the Licensed Victuallers' Association, in regard to a 44-liour week and other working conditions, applies only to workers in licensed hotels. This fact is pointed out by Mr. W. Anderson, secretary of the Employers' Association. The agreement does not cover in any way workers in private hotels, restaurants and similar institutions.
