GUIDE AND BROWNIE SUNBEAMS

In previous issues of the Budget we have told Sunbeams of the splendid help the brownies and guides have been giving us during our 1936 campaign. This week the brownies score over their big sisters the guides in a very astounding manner. The first brownie parcel to arrive came from the Gladstone brownies and contained 30 very nice patches. We were all admiring these and agreeing that brownies were indeed clever little girls, when along came a big parcel of 100 patches, no less, from the brownies of the St. Aidan s pack. These patches, too, were beautifully knitted and we specially liked the quaint little one from the baby of the pack.

We thank these little brownie friends and wish them smooth and happy trails.
