NORTHCOTE WOMEN.
Two sackfuls of gift clothing were sent to the Auckland Hospital Auxiliary by the Northcote Women's Progressive League, following the talk by the convener, Mrs. M. Carr-Smith, 011 the working of the sowing circle. A donation of five shillings was also made to cover the cost of thread, elastic, etc., so that 110 expense would be incurred in making up the garments by the sewing circle.
