JAPAN TOWARDS BRITAIN. (Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 12. » Sir Frederick Leitli-Ross, financial adviser to the British Government, following his talks with Japanese Government officials in Tokyo, says he lias been assured that Japan will not interfere with British interests in China, according to the "Daily Telegraph" Tokyo correspondent. , On the contrary, she desires a better understanding with Britain and a revival of the old friendship _ formerly existing between the two nations.
