ROTORUA'S CHARMS.

Having recently returned from a holiday spent in Rotorua, I think it worthy of comment that such a charming town is so inadequately advertised. Although I have spent many years in Auckland and liave read aboßt Rotorua oil different occasions, I really W 110 idea that it was such an attractive town. From what I was able to gather from the various people wlio had visited Rotorua, 1 imagined that it was all hot pools and that one had to be careful not to tumble into one of them. Imagine-my surprise upon arrival to find a fine town well laid out and having the most picturesque gardens within a fw yards of the post office. During the evenings I strolled along to the Government gardens again and again, and I shall never forget tfis charming picture presented by the floodhgl on the Blue Batli building, lighting up tB6 lawns and gardens. Of course, I also took a good look at tlio interior of the Blue Batn buildings and, incidentally, a plunge in tne bath. The weather was perfect during tM period of my stay in Kotorua, and the beau iful, sunny days quite astounded me, for I m been lead to believe that Rotorua was verv cold. I am sure that there are hundreds 0 Aucklanders who would be delighted to vis Rotorua if they only knew the true fact?. BUSINESS LADY.
