The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London Office as at the close of business this week:—Wethers: There is a better inquiry. Ewes: There is a little better d<nand. Lambs: There is a fair demand and it is thought that prices will remain steady at present quotations. Wethers, light, 4Ad to od per lb; heavy, 3%d to 4d; ewes, 3%d to 4%d; lambs, twos, 7Vsd to 7/sd; eights, 6%d to 6%d; fours, 6%d to 0/id, seconds, (5%d to 7d.
