CARD EVENING.
CATHOLIC LADIES' COMMITTEE,
A bright and successful bridge and 500 evening was held in the Renown Hall, Papatoetoe, on Tuesday night by the ladies' committee of the Papatoetoe Catholic Church. The guests were welcomed by Mrs. A. G. Grinter, the convener. Bridge prizes were won by Miss E. Ryan, Mr. Chris. Allen and Miss L. Cahill, while 500 prizes went to Mr. and Mrs. Raclif and Mrs. W. Duhlihanty. The hidden number was drawn by Mr. N. Darby. During the evening vocal items given by the Pcv. Fathfer Duffy were much appreciated.
