BENEFIT EVENING.
An enjoyable bridge evening was held on Thursday at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Hill, Handley Avenue, Devon - port, to raise funds for the rebuilding of the Narrow Neck Hall. The prizewinners were Mrs. A. E. Clyde and Mr. R. Sheppard, and for the hidden number Mrs. R. Stokes. The hostess was Mrs. H. L. Hill, and the following were present: Mesdames Waters, Hinton, A. E. Clyde, J. Gray, G. E. Ardley, E. P. Rutland, A. E. Wrigley, E. Keely, Chas. Peek, Ray Stokes, J. R. Spicer, P. S. Procter, Percival Wynyard, Riechelman, J. Gibbons, E. Mullan, L. Bowater, W, Howard, A. W. Short, Misses Pat Hill, Jean Cameron, Nance McLeod, G. Wrigley and E. Blackburn.
