Savage, stated to-day in connection with the"'forthcoming visit to Western Samoa of the Minister of Lands, the Hon. F. Langstone and Mr. J. O'Brien, M.P., that the Samoans have been assured :that there will be absolutely no restriction upon their movements during the visit of the Government representatives, who earnestly invite all sections of the people, both Man and Malo to meet them. Mr. 0. F. Nelson, who will return to by the July voyage of the Maui Pomare, will arrive at Apia on July 21, and will accordingly be in the territory, before Messrs. Langstone and O'Brien leave. Samoa on their return to New Zealand.
