UNITED CROQUET CLUB,

The reports presented at the annual meeting ol the united Croquet Cluo slioweu tliat the past season s activities had been liigniy suceessiul. The president, Mrs. M. W. Powxey, presented tiie prizes lor tne past reason's matches to tne lollowing members: —A champinsliip singles, Margaret Rowley; Cup and tropny, -Mrs. Henderson; runner-up, Mrs. JU. Clayton (Mrs. i< men, who was unable to compete alter holding the cup for four seasons in succession,, was the recipent of a duplicate miniature cup, kindly donated by Mrs. Powley); A nandicap singles, Mrs. Henderson; runner-up, Mrs. Hodge; championsiiip doubles, Mrs. Wilding and Miss Brown; runners-up, Mrs. Oswald and Miss Bowmar; A and B handicap doubles, Mesdames Oswald and liavenliall; runners-up, Mrs. D'Atli and Miss Burton; B championship doubles, Mrs. Ravenhall and Mrs. Haiiey; runners-up, Mrs. Leonard and Miss Veale; Anzae Cup (donated by Mrs. Parker), Mrs. Ravenhall; runner-up, Mrs. Gibson; challenge button, Mrs. Ravenhall. The election of officers for the 1936-37 season resulted as follows: — President, Mrs. M. W. Powley (re-elected); vicepresidents, Mrs. R. Ale Bride (re-elected; and Mrs. W. Kirk; hon. secretary, Mrs. Finch; hon. treasurer, Miss Thomson; general committee, Mesdames Bewes, Henderson, Wilding, Hodge, Misses Wright and Burton; match committee, Mesdames Meßride, Henderson and Wilding; tea and social eonjmittees, Mesdames Halley, Gibson, Peate and Miss Wright; green superintendent, Mrs. Powley; hon. auditor, Mr. H. Wilding; delegates to A.C.A., Mesdames Powley, Finch and Meßride.
