NEW APPOINTMENT.
CITY TRAFFIC OFFICER. Mr. J. Scott, a member of the citv traffic staff, has been appointed a Maiii Highways Board inspector with duty in the No. 6 highways district. Mr. Scott hae been a member of the city traffic staff for 14 years, and, with the exception of the superintendent of traffic (Mr. C. Bland), lias the longest record of service with the department. Mr. Scott has been testing officer and in charge of taxi-cab control.
