SEX OFFENDERS.
"A.S.M." has taken me up the wrong way, ns I did not mean to sound revengeful, but by the phrase that "men and youths who could not control their impulses should be put where they would be taught to," I meant to imply that they should be put away where they could be no longer a danger and a menace to our email daughters. Surely it is bad enough when girls in their teens get led away, but these girls, if they have a sensible mother, know what they are* doing. It is the small children that need protection; even the beasts of the fields do not sink as low ns these sexual perverts. How can we mothers warn little ones no more than babies without soiling their outlook? Yet the natural curiosity and friendliness of children make them such easy prey. "Three Worried Mothers"' extended ' their sympathy to 'A Suffering Mother," and I would like to do likewise. It was a kindly thought, and again I " MOTHER OF FUTURE MOTHERS.
