NEXT AUCKLAND MATCH. Xext Monday evening at the Auckland Town Hall a return wrestling bout between Blomfield and Boesch will be staged. Following are the amateur preliminaries: S. Hobbs (Leys), 10.6. v. R. Double (Lynndale), 10.3; D. Marsh (Y.M.C.A.). 11.5, v. W. Jackson (Broadway), 11.4. Special bout: G. Wah (Grafton), 9.7, v. W. Williamson (Y.M.C.A.), 9.7. Emergency bout: C. Hammond (Lynndale), 9.0, v. J. Walsh (Brighton), 8.13. KRUSE BEATS RUSSELL. At Thames last night in his first wrestling match in New Zealand Kruse (United States) beat Russell (Canada) by two falls to one. Amateur preliminaries resulted:— E. Hanan (Hikutaia), 11.1, defeated R. Ollard (Waihi), 10.8; L. Cook (Turua), 10.0, defeated B. Clark (Paeroa), 9.12; J. Epps (Wiiihi), 11.5. defeated D. Rendell (Omahu), 11.5; G. Avery (Hikutaia), 10.5, defeated S. Bridges (Paeroa), 10.6.
