Doctor Claims Sciatica Cure In 24 Hours. PAINLESS TREATMENT. (Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 14. The Sun-Herald news service says that sciatica can now be cured almost overnight by an inexpensive treatment, according to a statement by Dr. Geralcl Slot, in an address to the International Congress of Physical Medicine. Dr. Slot says that 23 out of 24 cases were successfully treated at the Royal Waterloo Hospital. The treatment is painless and without risk. Diagnosis includes X-ray, after which the patient is injected with evipan anaesthetic and sterile saline, containing 1 per cent of novoeainc, followed by manipulation ilt which the spine is extended and the legs and thighs fully flexed alternately with the pelvis fixed while the patient is lying j down.
