KING PAYS A VISIT.
TO HIS GREAT-UNCLE. British Official Wireless. (Received 2 p.m.) RUGBY, May 13. The 80-year-old Duke of Connaugh£, great-uncle of King Edward VIII., arrived in London yesterday from Bournemouth. This morning the King walked across from St. James' Palace to Clarence House to pay a call on the Duk.g. Other members of the Royal Family, including the Duke of York, also called at Clarence House during the morning. Sir Isaac Isaacs, former GovernorGeneral of Australia, was received by the King at Buckingham Palace, and he and Lady Isaacs lunched with His Majesty and Queen Mary.
