Third of N.Z. Conversion Loan Issue. COMMENT IN LONDON. LONDON, May 13. The city editor of "The Times" says the underwriters have been left with 30 per cent of New Zealand's £4,000,000 loan. The result can hardly be described as unsatisfactory for the trend of political and economic events in New Zealand has not been conducive to strengthening her credit —for example, the Reserve Bank Amendment Bill, which is the direct opposite of Australia's policy. Dealings in the loan opened at 7-lGths discount.
