INDIA V. NORTHANTS. MERCHANT AND NAYUDU AGAIN. (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 13. ' In the cricket match between the AllIndia and Northamptonshire elevens, for which county the New Zealander K. C. James is wicketkeeper, the visitors had compiled 304 for five wickets when stumps were drawn on the opening day. Merchant and Nayudu, the top-scorers against Somerset, were again the most prominent batsmen, the former with 71 and the latter with 76. Amar Nath made 57 not out, and Amar Singh 53 .
