Scotch Nation (McGuire), looking bright and wearing. rubber heel protectors, was allotted three rounds of good half-pace, pulling up well. Waitaka ran lour furlongs in 595. Gay Rose, looking especially fit, did a round at half pace. Muhgatoon (Preston) and Lagoon (Keesing) were! associated over a mile and finished in line; in 1.48. Mungacre, after a circuit, skipped I over three furlongs in 41s. , Fei-Mah,, Keith Lu, Heskertoon, Black Musk andj Armacourt moved attractively m service-) able work. I
