HERD TESTING.
TAUPIRI ACTIVITIES.
Mr. W. P. Lovell presided over an excellent attendance of members of the Taupiri and Orini groups of the New Zealand Co-operative Herd Testing Association (Inc.) at the annual group meeting, held in the library, Taupiri. The general manager, Mr. S. J. Sheaf, reviewed the past season's operations and Mr. W. L. Ranstead, a director of the association, addressed those present on artificial insemination. After discussion it was decided to hold a social in July, the group committees being left to make all arrangements.
The following committees were elected for the ensuing year:—Taupiri group: Messrs. A. J. Mace, W. P. Lovell, G. H. Walter, F. E. Matthews, D. S. Riddell. Mr. A. J. Mace was elected convener. Orini group: Messrs. J. G. Williams, W. S. Carter and D. J. Browning.
