Plans to Build up Dairying Industry. EXPORTATION" OF BUTTER. (Received 2 p.m.) MELBOURNE, this-day. Discussing the trial shipment of Japanese butter to London, the Melbourne manager of Mitsui Bussan Kaisha Proprietary, Limited, stated that Japan was attempting to establish a dairying industry. Imports of butter had been substantially reduced during the last 18 months. Good herds were being built up in the north under Danish experts. The trade in Melbourne, however, does not believe that Japan can become a serious rival on the BritisJi market for a long time.
