ANNUAL REUNION HELD. MEMORIAL CHURCH PARADE. The annual reunion and memorial church parade of the First Field Company of the New Zealand Engineers was held on Satur- | day and yesterday. The church parade took place at St. David's Presbyterian Church, Khyber Pass, where the permanent war memorial tablet of the company is placed, the band of the 3rd Auckland Regiment providing an escort to ancl from the church. About 40 former members and 50 present members of the company paraded. The parade was under the charge of Major L. I'. R 1 " 1 ' 1 - MaJ< £- p' E. Edney and Captain Clifton, M.C., representing the Wellington headquarters, I The commemoration service was c( | n " ducted by the Rev. W. Bower Black who I recalled to the memory of those present the Rev. E. J. Tipler, conductor of the service last year. In the course of the service, Mr. Black also referred to the name of Mr. K. S. Macky, whose death during the week had filled the community with sorrow. Both of these nien had shown most clearly the spirit of the men whose memory the congregation was celebrating that day. The company reunion was held on Saturday night at the Tiffin Tearooms, Mr. Jri. F. W. Meikle, a former member, presiding over an attendance of about 100 past and present members. Toasts were honoured, musical items given, and Captain Clifton delivered a shor£ address on the situation in the Mediterranean.
