MILK PRODUCERS.

ANNUAL MEETING HELD. The annual meeting of the Auckland Whole Milk Producers' Association today was attended by 24 members out of a roll number of 80. The retiring president, Mr. N. R. Davenport, said that though it might be taken as. a tribute to the executive as showing that members were satisfied with the manner in which the association's business was being handled, he regretted that the attendance was small. During the past year, he stated, the association, although it had not acliievcd all its aims, had gone a long way toward r=o doing, and the producer was now getting a fairer proportion of the price of milk.

A motion by Mr. L. Jones that membership of the association be limited to producers holding an Auckland Milk producer's license only was seconded by Mr. A. C. Trousdale and carried.

The following: officers were elected: — President, Mr. L. Jones; vice-president, Mr. L. Montgomerie; committee. Messrs. R. H. Ockleston, A. Milieu, S. Chambers, R. G. Ross, W. J. Reeves, J. J. Fowlie.
