NOT WORRYING.
MILK VENDORS' PROTESTS. "STATEMENTS NOT TRUE." "These people are. actually indulging in statements which, in my opinion, .amount to criminal libel," said Mr. G. W. Hutchison, chairman of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council, this morning when a letter containing a copy of a resolution carried at a suburban meeting of residents protesting against the provisions of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Amendment Act, 1935, was before the council. "I have just laughed at the statements made concerning the council and myself, because the majority of people know the statements are not true. I don't think they can dp much harm, and I don't think we need worry," he added. "I believe a meeting of protest against consolidation was held last night, and only four people attended."
