CRISIS IN ENGLAND.
LEAGUE OF NATIONS UNION. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, April 30. The "Morning Post" says that Lord Queenborough's resignation of thej treasurership portends a crisis in the League of Nations Union. Sir Edward Cirigg and Major Hills have resigned from the executive committee, and further resignations are possible, due partly to fears of the moderates in the union becoming too extreme and partly to financial difficulties in connection I with the expenses of the peace ballot taken in 1935.
