EDUCATION BY WIRELESS.
EVENING SERIES OF TALKS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. The New Zealand Broadcasting Board is reviving the evening series of educational talks. The new series, which will be given from each of the four main station.?, it is hoped once a week during the winter, will be definitely instructional, being planned on adult education lines, but the entertainment aspect will not be neglected.
Honorary advisory committees have been set up in the four centres to supervise this series of talks under the control of the board. The following have already consented to act:'—Wellington. Dr. Elizabeth Brvson, Dr. I. L. d. Sutherland and Professor G. W. von Zedlitz: Auckland, Mrs. N. H. E. Shepherd. Sir Joseph Smith, Mr. Gilbeit Archev, Mr. N. M. Richmond and Professor C. G. Cooper; Christchuich, Professor J. Hight, Professor J. Shelley. Mr. A. T. Donnelly and Dr. J. Guthrie; Dunedin, Miss Hypatia Johnson, Archdeacon Whitehead. Professor G. E. Thompson and Professor T. D. Adam*. A representative of the local station staff will be a member of each committee.
