STEDMAN FALLS TO PERRY. CHILIAN GIRL IMPRESSES. (Received- 10 a.m.) LONDON, April 30. The semi-finals of the British hard court tennis championships at Bournemouth resulted: — . Men's Singles—F. J. Perry beat A. C. Stedman (New Zealand), 6—2, 6—-3, H. W. Austin beat H. G. N. Lee, 6—l, 5—7, 6—2, 6—l. 1 Women's Singles—Mrs. M. R. King (nee Miss Phyllis Mudford) beat Miss D. E. Round. 6—4, 6 —2; Senorita Lizana (Chile) beat Miss M. C. Scriven, 7—5, 2—o, 6—3. Critics are unanimous that benorita Lizana, who has trained strenuously, is a far stronger player than last year.
