GREYHOUND RACING.
Dogs from Hamilton, Huntly and other parts of the Waikato are reported to be entered for the Metropolitan Greyhound Racing Club's meeting at Herring's Park, Western Springs, on Saturday, the entry being an improvement on former fields. Nominations close to-day with the secretary, Mr. A. W. Bennett, Station Terrace, Rcmuera. The well-known trainer and breeder, Mr.. Davidson, is expected to have several dogs racing, and among others in strict training are Madame X, Miss X, Gold Jacket, Trixie Dix, Red Mickey, Hushing, Carry On, Master Rothwell, Mickey's Son, Lightning, Black Spanner, Gay Sheila, Gay Marigold, Some Boy, Jiggs and Irish Beauty.
