FINAL DUfIEDIN SALE. SATISFACTORY CLEARANCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Thursday. The offering at to-night's wool sale comprised some choice fine wools from Central Otago districts, and also a quantity of very attractive crossbred clips from the South. The great bulk of the wools, however, comprised the usual late shorn clips which are sold in April, and these were naturally heavy in condition and carrying their usual quantity of seed. The total offering was in the vicinity of 26,000 bales. From the outset it was evident that good wools were still in keen demand, and these were competed for at price* which were fully firm on the March sale rates. For both halfbred and crossbred competition was well spread between the various sections of the trade, with Bradford, in particular, operating move freely than was evident at the previous auction in Dunedin. Local mills were also in the market for wools suitable to their requirements. Taking all things into consideration the sale was a most satisfactory finish to a most successful selling season.
