OBITUARY.
MR. H. C. CAMPBELL,

DUNEDIN, Wednesday.
The death occurred to-day of Mr. H. C. Campbell, a well-known shipping and indent agent. He vas a member of the Otago Harbour Board and chairman for two terms, and was a member of the City Council for several years, and also a member of the Chamber of Commerce.
MR. FRANCIS NOBBS.
Severely injured about 10 months ago, when lie was thrown from a crane which capsized" at the Cascades jetty, Sir. Francis Nobbs died recently at Norfolk Island at the age of 54. He was a grandson of the Rev. G. H. Nobbs, who was pastor to the people of Pitcairn and Norfolk Islands for more than CO years. Mr. Nobbs leaves a widow and a grownup family.
MR. ARCHIBALD McMILLAN.

WHANGAREI, Wednesday.
The death occurred in the Auckland Public Hospital this morning of Mr. Archibald McMillan, at the age of 78 years. He went to Auckland about a fortnight ago on a holiday and was taken ill there, undergoing an operation about a week ago. Mr. McMillan was born at Waipu, his parents having come to New Zealand from Nova Scotia with the first settlers. He lived the whole of his life in thi; Waipu and Whangarei districts. He removed to Whangarei about 20 years ago, taking up fruit farming in Kamo Road. Mr. McMillan was a staunch member of the Presbyterian Church. He never married, but lis survived by a sister, Miss - Mary McMillan, of Waipu, and a brother, Mr. Daniel McMillan, also of Waipu. Four I brothers and one sister predeceased him.
