FAREWELL CONCERT.
The Amateur Operatic Hall was filled on Saturday evening last, when an excellent concert was given to farewell Mr. Jim Sharp, better known as "Uncle Bob," of IYA, who is leaving shortly for Australia. The programme, which was organised and arranged by Miss Reta MacCullay, was of a very high standard and included the following well known artists: Misses Gwenda Weir, Bettina Edwards, Dorothy Katipa, Reta MacCullay, Yvonne Cartier, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Bailey, Messrs. Robert Simmers, Dan Flood, Stuart Harvey, Jim Sharp, Erie Bell and Mick Orr. The accompanist was Mr. Eric Maxwell.
