DANGEROUS DRIVING.
SEALING DOWN OF MOTORS. MAGISTRATE'S SUGGESTION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A new penalty in cases of dangerous driving and travelling at excessive speed was suggested by Mr. E. D. 'Mosley, S.M., when hearing by-law cases today. He said he had been hoping-that power would be given to the Court to order the sealing down of cars so that they could not exceed a given speed. It would be an excellent way of punishing speeding motorists if they could be ordered not to exceed 25 miles an hour over a definite period. Provision could be made to this end by sealing down their cars.
