UNEMPLOYMENT TAX.
NO IMMEDIATE INCREASE.
(By- Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. The Hon. H. T. Armstrong, Minister of Employment, stated to-day ttoit- tlie Government does not intend immediately to increase the unemploy tax. He hoped the public works activi ties would give substantial relief Unemployment Fund. Shortly, b + n before the session opened, he hoped to make an announcement regardin D increase in sustenance rates.
