After visiting. Australia to deal with questions relating to Imperial soldiers pensions, Mr. F. N- Smith 0.8.E a senior officer of the British Ministiy Pensions, London, is at present in Wellington. His purpose is not to investigate individual cases*, except those in which there are special'difficulties, and ■where the men concerned have used the facilities at their disposal in this coun-
He states that no changes in the pensions policy are contemplated by the British Ministry, but nevertheless he will be meeting representatives pi accredited ex-service associations. we has already been in touch with the New Zealand Ketui-ned'Soldiers Association, and he is to have discussions with Sf'sts* Royal Air Force.
