HOMES FOR AGED SOLDIERS
MEMORIAL TO liATE KING.
A plan has been approved by the Queensland branch of the Returned Sailors and Soldiers' Imperial League of Australia to establish a scries of home'-' for aged ex-servicemen as a memorial to the late King George V. The establishment of such''Monies has been under consideration for some time and it is felt by the association that no more fivt•:• _r memorial to the late King George V. could be erected by the ex-sailors and ex-soldiers of, tlu State. Details of the scheme have net yet been completed, but it is intended that admission to Hie proposed'homes shall be open to all old soldiers and sailors, irrespective of the date of their campaign.
