j SPORTS QUEEN CARNIVAL.
The Ponsonby Amateur Swimming and Life-Saving Club lias been busy in endeavours to secure a majority for Mona Leydon in the Ponsouby Sports Queen Carnival. Its eliainpionsliip and novelty carnival to-morrow promises to be the most attractive gala held this season at the Tepid Baths, and as the whole of the proceeds will be devoted to the special purpose of making Miss Leydon's -position at the poll secure, there is every reason to believe that the public will extend themselves to at least help the club in its worthy cause.
