NEW ZEALAND RECORD. WOMEN'S DISCUS THROW. The weather was ideal on Saturday when Lvnndale held Its final points meet; ing o£ the season. The track was In good order and an absence of wind also favoured the runners. In conjunction with this meeting, the Kiwi Ladies' Club also decided some of its championships. Although fields were comparatively small, good performances were general. D. Ball, the 'Varsity star, was in great form, winning the half-mile in 2.0 and the quarter in 52 2-5s —both off scratch. The cup for most points gained was won by G. Lvndsay. Three athletes, D. Ball, 1. Collins and G. Lyndsay, tied with eight points each for this cup. They agreed to toss for it. Lyndsay was lucky. Ball took the second medal. Miss Munro proved that she is the most versatile lady athlete in Auckland, when she won the 100 yards, long jump and discus throwing championships of the Kiwi * Ladies' Club. In the latter event she set a New Zealand record, throwing it a distance of 91ft 7Jin. Mrs. Thomas collected the high jump and the javelin throw championships. 100 Yards Handicap.-—Final : J. B.
