PERSONAL. Mr. W. D. Holgate left for Wellington last night by train. Mr. A. H. Johnstone, K.C., left for Wellington on Saturday. Professor F. P. Worley left for the South by train last evening. The Hon. W. W. Snodgrass, M.L.C., arrived in Auckland on Saturday. Mr.' C. L. Hunter, M.P. for Manawatu, has taken up residence in Levin. Mr. G. W. Hutchinson leaves for Wellington to-night by the Limited express. Mr. W. H. Gummer arrived from Wellington by the Limited express on Saturday morning. Mr. W. T. Guild, president of the Taranaki Automobile Association, is seriously ill in the New Plymouth Hospital. The Hon. H. G. E. Mason, Minister of Justice and Attorney-General, returned to Wellington last evening by the Limited express. Mr. T. C. Drumm, of the Palmerston North branch of the Public Trust Office, has been transferred to Dunedin. His successor will be Mr. R. Menneer, of Gisborne. Brother M. M. O'Connor, rector of St. Kevin's College, Oamaru, has received notice of his appointment to the Christian Brothers' High School, St. Mary s Cathedral, Sydney. Dr. S. K. Philips returned from the South by train on Saturday. He has been attending a conference of the Music Teachers' Association and a meeting of the Music Teachers' Registration Board. Mr. R. H. J. Camm, formerly Christchurch manager of the Commercial Bank of Australia, and now manager of tl>i Commercial Bank in Adelaide, has been elected chairman of the Associated Banks of South Australia for 1936.
