SOUNDING "LAST POST."
ARMY REGULATIONS. A correspondent, "Only a Tommy," , has written to the editor of the "Star" suggesting that instead of "The Last Post," which he characterises as "a most morbid thing," the "Retreat" should be sounded at sunset to-morrow in Albert Park. The position is that the matter is governed by the Army regulations, and nothing else can be taken into account.
