THIS MORNING'S WORK. GOOD EFFORT BL FLEETWIND. No. 1 grass track was available for fast work at Ellerslie this morning, and the going was in perfect order, but there was not a great deal of galloping executed. Tidalia ran home from the threefurlong post in 39 2-ss. She disappointed on Saturday, and will have to improve in order to pay her way. Red Flame strode over six furlongs in 1.18, finishing up her task in good style. Courthaven was timed to run the last three furlongs of her work in 39 2-ss, hitting out well. Fleetwind reeled off three furlongs in 375. This filly •ran a good race on Saturday. Sir Abb covered half a mile in 545, the final three furlongs being covered in 38 3-ss. Kelly, after running his first furlong in 13s, completed half a mile in 49 l-ss. Dutch Girl j ran her first three furloiicrs in 39 1 -sk. I
