(Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, January 24. f At the wool sales 9092 bales were offered, 1 including 4473 New Zealand; 8360 Australian and New Zealand were sold. There d was a fairly good selection, consisting t chiefly of Australian greasy Merinos, which 3 sold well at full current rates. New Zeai land greasy crossbred, Hautapu, top price £ 12% d, average 10% d; slipe halfbred lambs, , CFB/Pareora, 18d and 16% d. 1 ■ LONDON, January 23. s At the woo] sales 9675 bales were offered, including 4790 New Zealand, and 8377 Australian and New Zealand were ' sold. New Zealand crossbreds sold in sellers' favour. New Zealand greasy crossbred—Oakleigh, top price M'/id, average 10% d. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office, under date 24tli inst.:—Compared with the opening of the series there is no material change.
