HINTS ABOUT PATCHING TOYS. Toys are particularly liable to get broken, •no matter how careful we may be of them in our play hours, but it is a pity to put them away as useless and acquire new ones when our familiar old friends may be mended and patched and put into first-class order. A Doll's Broken Head. If the china head of a doll breaks off at the neck, it can be stuck on again with seccotine or glue. Thin glue is suitable for china, wax composition or wood, and it must be coated along the broken edges. Doll's hair can be stuck on with the same adhesive substance.
