RIT. MAUNG ANTTI CARNIVAL. AUCKLAND TEAM TRAVELS. The Mount Maunganui Surf Life-saving Club will hold a surf carnival at The Mount beach on . Sunday, when teams from other parts of the Bay of Plenty, Waihi, as well as a combined team from Auckland will be taking part. The programme will comprise the spectacular march past as .well as girls' land drill, surf race for teams of four, men's rescue and resuscitation teams' event for Munroe Trophy, musical flags, beach belt race, four-man alarm teams event and a girls' BP and R. event. ' ■',> Owing to the proximity of dates of the provincial championship, which will be held on the Ohope (Whakatarie) Beach on February 16, city clubs are unable to compete as teams, but a combined team will represerlt" Aiiclclandi The team will comprise: Messrs. ±1. Kember, L. Kerr (Eastern United), S. Warren, R. Patterson tjakapuna), C. Holt, J. Mathiqson (Piha). Messrs H C Sidford (secretary) and M. R. Adams (treasurer) will represent the Surf Lifesaving Association. The judge will be Mr. A. C. Faulkner.
